Over CSI

Ronald Hoekstra, the founder of CSI, has worked at the Dutch Customs, (among others the National Value Team) before he made the switch to one of the four largest tax consultancy firms in the country. He also worked as Global Trade Compliance Manager at various multinationals. With the experience and knowledge he gained there, Customs Solutions & Improvements B.V. was established.

This company specializes in providing customs advice in the broadest sense of the word. Over the years, Customs Solutions & Improvements B.V. has grown into a renowned customs consultancy in the fruit and vegetable sector. By providing targeted advice and the implementation of cost-saving customs programs, Customs Solutions & Improvements B.V. grew to be a leading company in the field.

From the perspective that customs and logistics are in line with each other, Ronald established Container Service Intermediary B.V. as a logistics service provider in 2014. Ever since, we strive to offer you the best and fastest transport possibilities for your goods.

In order to provide our clients with even better and a more complete service, CSI-Fresh B.V. was added as a customs broker to this growing group of companies on the 1st of july, 2014. This company focuses on the preparation and settlement of customs documentation.

The starting point of our company is: “Why do our clients have to go to different parties for their logistics and customs handling of their containers? This should be done from a central counter.”

More efficient work, simplifications in the customs processes and the linking of automated systems (re-use of your data) results in considerable cost savings for our clients.
